Hi, I'm Markus! I currently live in San Francisco and am a founder of Lobe, an easy-to-use interface for building custom deep learning models.
I am also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I attended the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology (Wharton + Engineering) and continued for a Master's in computer science.
My research interests include unsupervised/semi-supervised deep learning models, recurrent networks, and reinforcement learning. My latest paper is about using unsupervised deep recurrent models for sequence generation. (Deep Generative Networks for Sequence Prediction)
In my spare time I like to produce/DJ electronic music, explore, and cook.
